The Vision is a synthezoid, a consciousness living in a synthetic body that once belonged to the original Human Torch. The Scarlet Witch is a beauteous mutant with the ability to affect probabilities. Against impossible odds, these two extraordinary beings met and fell in love. Today they are man and wife. For most of their lives, they were Avengers, but they left that behind in a desperate attempt to lead a normal life together.

In this twelve-part series, they would realize how very hard that is for people such as themselves. Here, they are menaced by countless villains, and by the prejudice of their own neighbors.
