Some old soldiers neither die nor fade away, some just get a new title. Primarily a Jerry Ordway (Superman, Shazam) showcase, U.S.Agent is a quaint kind of action series in a sea of cynical and revisionist 90s titles. Full of Hydra goons, secret government agencies, nasty southern senators and Atlantean splinter groups, it’s the odd title out next to the likes of the revamped Ultimate universe and the Avengers.

John Walker, once the disgraced replacement Captain America, now must forge his own legend as the Super Soldier who does what his government tells him to do. Heading up his own super-powered watchdog group is harder than it seems when an old flame becomes his partner and old villains broker alien technology.
