This is a two-issue Marvel Re-Mix limited series, which means that a classic Marvel tale is reinterpreted for a modern comics-reading audience. Here, writer Michael Jan Friedman (Darkstars) and artist Sal Velluto (Justice League Task Force) retell the story of Doctor Doom’s theft of the Silver Surfer’s Power Cosmic from Fantastic Four #’s 155-157. Is it better than the original? Probably not, but it’s not bad. Certainly Velluto’s artwork is worth a look.
