Star Trek Unlimited

The “unlimited” in this case means that the stories in this bimonthly series aren’t restricted to one cast of characters. These issues, from Marvel’s “Paramount Comics” line, sport storylines from both the classic Star Trek series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Marvel published several other titles under their Paramount label, most notably, the Star Trek: Star Fleet Academy series.

The stories in Star Trek Unlimited are new, but typical examples of plotlines from either series, done by artists and writers who are obviously fans. Each issue contains a story from each series is presented in its entirety, to satisfy both “Trekker” factions.
