It’s 1997, and now Venom is working as a secret government agent. He was sent to a Bronx church where the soon-to-be-recognized president of San Gregorio was giving a speech on human rights—belying his own dismal record on that score.

Predictably, the quiet of the church is broken up by a gaggle of superbeings out for the would-be presidente’s head. Venom gets into the action and puts them to rout, only to face a second round against Bronx resident Dan Ketch—a.k.a. Ghost Rider.

So with all this going on, why does El Presidente look like he knows a secret he’s not sharing with the class? Find out the answer in this two-issue mini-series.
