Megazzar Dude

He’s the chosen super-hero of Oblivion City—more or less, although it was he who chose the city, rather than the reverse being the case, and thus the citizens are stuck with him. It’s an appropriate city for Megazzar Dude, as he spends most of his time in a kind of oblivion anyway. His origins are unknown to him, as is his entire past, a subject he’s rather sensitive about. He’s also epileptic, a challenge that he can handle more easily than he can handle the criticism of him. In this special he attempts to help his image by addressing these quirks in a public interview, but his terse answers may do him more harm than good. And when another hero, Mondo Fella, arrives to steal his thunder, a less-than-adoring public might be the least of his worries.

A somewhat darker take on the bumbling super-hero focus of series like “Megaton Man” or more popularly “The Tick,” this offbeat title does have some humor.
