A fantastic black and white tale with no words, but an impressive message and observations of people, as seen through the eyes of a fish.

In the distant past, there was a fish with legs. He was worshiped by cavemen and life was good. Then the spacemen came, and the cavemen had other things on their mind, so Fish dug himself a hole and went to sleep until our century… when he awoke and experienced a whole slew of adventures and truly came to understand the human condition. Then he went back down into a hole and buried himself for another few centuries, and woke up to see that humanity was all but gone from the face of the earth… except for one hungry survivor…

Peter Keilland is an artist who’s name is well known in his native Denmark and Fish was awarded the 1995 Best Graphic Novel of the Year there.
