Fantastic Four: Foes

In more than four decades of fighting crime, you make a lot of enemies. The Fantastic Four discover this truism early in this miniseries, when both the Puppet Master and Dragon Man appear on the scene to wreak havoc. When our heroes discover two suitcases full of vials—each labeled with the name of another of their foes—defeating those two villains seems like a pyrrhic victory. Moreover, their legions of enemies inspire Reed Richards to share with his teammates another disturbing truism: With so many people out to kill them, Mr. Fantastic wonders how much longer he and his teammates can stay alive.

This title focuses on both the foursome’s foes and how those villains shape the heroes into the people they are today. The series is written by Robert Kirkman and drawn by Cliff Rathburn.
