What if Loki, evil half–brother and age–old foil to Thor and his fellow Norse Gods, actually won? That’s the premise of this series, in which a beaten Thor is bloodied and in chains and Loki sits on the throne of Asgard, controlling all in his ruthless grip. Of course, heavy is the head that wears the crown, and Loki quickly learns that victory has its own problems. Whether it be citizens failing to show him the proper respect or powerful entities like Hela claiming their pound of flesh, Loki finds ruling might be just as hard a battle as rebellion.

This clever and lush series focusing on one of Marvel’s oldest villains is written with a dark wit by Robert Rodi and painted by Esad Ribic.
