This single issue collects Helsing numbers 3 and 4 together with a new prelude that lays out the history of the war between the famous Abraham Van Helsing and his heirs and the vampires that roam the earth. The closing chapters of Samantha Helsing’s story are revealed here, the mysteries of her origins exposed, and her final part in the mystery play completed. But the line of the Van Helsings did not end with the death of her husband and, as we see in this issue’s epilogue, the return of her vampire father to the secret society of vampires known as the Tophet will lead to a new war between the battling families. An intricately woven tale of hatred and vengeance, this collection of the final issues of the original Helsing title aptly conclude the series.
