This 12-page full color one-shot was John Byrne’s “stocking stuffer” to all of comics fandom for the Christmas holiday of 1994. Rather, it was a bagged comic insert stuffed into the nineteenth issue of Hero Illustrated magazine , featuring the Prototykes— four tiny “robo-tots” who briefly entered the comics universe that same year as back-up features in another Byrne title called Babe and then, apparently, disappearing for good.

The one big scene within the story that makes this holiday special worth collecting is an appearance by the real Santa Claus…yeah, the real Santa Claus!
