Tank Girl is not the sweet, little, freckle-faced cherub from next door. She’s sort of the ultimate tomboy, with a shaven head, “bollocks that!” attitude, and a multi-ton piece of advanced armament, courtesy of the Australian military.

Hewlett and Martin’s heroine is back in this second Tank Girl compilation, along with friends Jet Girl, Sub Girl, and assorted stuffed animals. In a series of weird adventures, they escape from a mental institute (where the authorities try to revert them to childhood and inject them with lemonade), deal with the resignation of their artist creators, and more.
