Superman: The Man of Tomorrow

Beginning with issues dated January 1991, the three regular Superman titles, Superman, The Adventures of Superman, and Action Comics, began a tight, integrated continuity. Stories were continued, not from one month’s issue to the same title the next month, but to the issue that would be appearing the next week regardless of its title. When Superman: The Man of Steel appeared in July of 1991, it tied into the other three Superman titles, virtually guaranteeing a Superman story every week. Virtually, but not literally, since some months contain five weeks. Hence came Superman: The Man of Tomorrow in 1995 to cover that vexing fifth week. Usually published every twelve weeks, this title bears a season in its indicia rather than a month and assures Superman fans that they will receive steady chronicle of the adventures of the first and foremost super-hero.
