Hero

Good and Evil must always remain in balance. When Evil begins to grow too powerful, Good must look for a champion, a hero to restore the balance. When it can’t find one, it settles for someone like Cody Pace.

Cody was a loser in all senses of the world. He was a lazy security courier who couldn’t understand women and who was several payments late on his Corvette payments.

Then, he lost the big one. He was to deliver a sealed briefcase from a group calling itself the Petroleum Mediation League and deliver it to the U.N. building. Unknown to Pace, the briefcase chained to his wrist contained a bomb. Metal detectors at the U.N. detected it, and he was placed in a bomb-safe room where he waited helplessly for a bomb disposal team. Then, the bomb exploded—and Cody woke up in a new world—a world of fantasy and magic.
