In a place beyond our space and time is the “No-Space”—a zone of emptiness outside our continuum. Floating in the midst of that blackness is a solitary spacecraft called the Refuge. Motormouth, Killpower, and Ultra-Marine have been brought to the Refuge, and are soon joined by Dark Angel, Death’s Head II, Albion (from the Knights of Pendragon), and Col. Liger and Stacey of the Warheads. All of these heroes have been snatched from their own continuum by a being called the Time Guardian, who charges them with a great mission: to stop the sorcerous MyS-TECH corporation.

The Guardian has looked into the future and has seen MyS-TECH controlling the entire world, unless these heroes are able to put an end to its machinations. Thus he has called together Marvel UK’s greatest heroes to form a single team—The Dark Guard—to destroy the menace of MyS-TECH before it destroys the future.
