It! The Terror From Beyond Space
(Millennium, 1992-1993)
™ and ©1992 MGM/UA
The Challenge 141 had set off toward Mars with high hopes for its crew, led by veteran Mars explorer Colonel Edward Carruthers. Only minutes after planetfall, however, all radio contact was lost with the ship. NASA feared that the crew had been lost, and dispatched a second ship to investigate. Still, nothing could have prepared them for what they found when the rescue ship arrived on Mars.
Carruthers was alive, living in a wrecked spaceship with the rest of his crew buried in the sands around it. Carruthers babbled about a “monster” that had killed his men, but the skull of a crewman with a bullet hole in it seemed to belie the tale. Carruthers was charged with murder and placed in custody as the rescue ship made the long journey toward earth. But as mad as it sounded, Carruthers had been telling the truth—and the very same monster was now lurking within the ship!
