Freak Force

The Freak Force is a group of super-beings formerly employed by the Chicago Police Department, now trying to get set up on their own. The team consists of the massive Barbaric and the bouncing girl wonder Ricochet, both of which were runaways with unknown backgrounds; super-soldier-turned-cyborg SuperPatriot; the reptilian Horridus; electricity-wielding knockout, Rapture; the powerful Mighty Man (whose spirit is now inhabiting the body of an inexperienced new host); and team-leader and projectile-thrower, Dart.

Erik Larsen created these characters as part of Savage Dragon and SuperPatriot titles, and now joins them together in their own team series. It’s an odd collection of characters which Larsen and co-plotter Keith Giffen are clearly having fun with.
