Comico’s popular comic Elementals attempted to give super-heroes a more adult feel by delving into the personal lives of the characters rather than simply piling on fight scene after fight scene. The title was also used as a launching pad for new heroes who would inhabit the same universe and hopefully be spun off into titles of their very own. That said, Strike Force Legacy reprints the first meeting between The Elementals and a new team of heroes known as Strike Force. The Elemental known as Vortex is the first to encounter this new team and he’s in for a surprise as he painfully discovers each member’s special powers. However, when Strike Force America finally debuted with its own title, it lasted only one issue.
