Demolition Man

™ and ©1994 Warner Bros.

By 2032, it would seem, the world has become a great deal calmer. In San Angeles, crime and violence is practically non-existent, everyone seems fairly well-off, and the population lives in a serene state of complacency.

Then Simon Phoenix, a mass-murderer from our time who had been placed in cryogenic suspension, was awakened and immediately set off on an orgy of murder and destruction. The future’s police, unaccustomed to dealing with violent offenders of any sort, find themselves hopelessly outclassed and outgunned by the hellbent Phoenix. In desperation, they revive another relic from the past—ace cop John Spartan, known in his time as the Demolition Man—to take on Phoenix. Bitter enemies in their own time, these two now fight an all-out war in the suddenly less-than-idyllic future.
