Dominique: Protect and Serve
(Caliber)
©1994 Charles & Lisa Moore. Cover art ©1994 Ken Meyer, Jr.
This one-shot is an episode in the continuing adventures of Dominique (Nikki) Sinclair, former agent of the FBI. Years earlier, she had been part of a raid on an interstate car theft ring in which a garage worker named Elliott was captured. In turn for the Feds dropping charges against him, Elliott agreed to testify against his erstwhile employers, and would later be shielded by the Witness Protection Program.
Then the problems began: the trial ended in a mistrial, although Elliott was still forced into hiding. Now, years later, the Feds expected him to reemerge and testify again—even though it would put his life in danger. In this situation, there was only one person Elliott could trust—the agent who gave her word years ago that she would do whatever it took to keep him safe.
