Budd Root’s pulp jungle adventure series has included time-traveling Nazis, soul-stealing demons and undead dinosaurs, but the star of Cavewoman has always been the bikinied, bodacious Maid of the Mesozoic herself, Meriem Cecilbie Cooper. Comic book demographics being what they are, she’s also been featured in a number of art collections sometimes appearing in her trademark leopard skin two–piece, sometimes not. She tends toward the latter in this collection of explicit (Playboy-level) art; Root’s drawings are mostly detailed pencil sketches, but a handful are in ink or in color as well.
