People are Phony

    (Siegel and Simon, 1976)
™ and © 1976 Barry Siegel and Bruce Simon

A wannabe rock star bashes his face with his own guitar and a burly French lumberjack-introduces two naïve reporters to life in the wild. A man beats a mime to a bloody pulp, and another man and his dog discover the evils of quaaludes in this 1976 comic, which is sure to both amuse and offend.

Barry Siegal and Bruce Simon examine the various oddities of life in these highly irreverent stories told with detailed black and white art reminiscent of Mad Magazine and the works of R. Crumb.
