As the city sleeps, dark hunters prowl the night. The General hunts the Marquis, the likeliest suspect in a string of grisly murders. The Inquisitors have tasked him with the capture of the Marquis, who will be hunted down and punished for the sins of an entire city. Meanwhile, the Marquis hunts the true killer; an impish demon that flits from human host to human host, leaving a trail of dead bodies slain with the weapons of the Marquis.

Guy Davis’s Marquis has never been easily accessible, blending as it does super-hero adventure and gothic horror. However, Sin of One is one of best-written and most exciting chapters of the character’s history.
