In an effort to expose middle school age children to the wonders of non–fiction reading, Rosen Publishing published a series of graphic nonfiction stories filled with facts and good biographies of famous people from history. With Ross Watton’s illustrations, we take a fairly detailed look at the life of explorer Christopher Columbus. From his early days as a sailor with the Genoese trading fleet, through his tribulations in gaining funds to search for a western route to China, we follow his life all the way to the end of his fourth voyage from what he believed to the Indies.
