Eternity Comics published a series of adaptations of B-movie horror flicks, in association with Full Moon Entertainment. The movies, including Puppet Master and Subspecies often went straight to video, but became staples of late night horror television.

Subspecies is the story of two vampire brothers. Stefan, the “good” vampire, was brought up as royalty in a kingdom of kindly vampires who used servants to quench their bloodthirst, but never killed them by drinking too much. Radu, his demonic brother, was sired when a demon tricked Stefan’s father into bed by pretending to be his wife. The demon revealed her true form after their mating, and went on to give birth to a nightmare being bent on conquest of the vampire kingdom. Subspecies is the story of the two brothers’ eternal rivalry, and the human lives that are destroyed in the conflict.
