Piracy (RCP)

Though some consider this one of E.C.’s New Direction titles like MD or Psychoanalysis, this actually was one of the last New Trend titles that was sort of a belated replacement for the previously canceled Frontline Combat. Featuring adventure stories of pirates on the high seas, the confusion lies in the fact that the title was not canceled along with E.C.’s other crime and horror books and actually was published to the tail end of E.C.’s four-color comic books in 1956. Reprints from RCP breathed new life into the series for nostalgic fans in the late 80s.
