Giant-Size Mini Comics

Eclipse Comics’ Giant-Size Mini Comics provides fans of sequential art with an industry first—a comic book size collection of works by artists who labor in the mini comics’ field. For the record, a mini comic is a booklet made from one sheet of paper that is folded into quarters. Most are printed on copy machines (to keep costs down) and in such small quantities that finding one becomes nearly impossible.

While most of its stories would fall under the humor banner, illustrated poetry and dramas typical of an award-winning novel grace the pages of this title. An obvious contradiction to your average underground fare, the lighthearted stories derive from a true love of storytelling, not from some deep-rooted sexual perversion, and are suitable for readers of all ages. The folks at Eclipse even go so far as to provide a “Recommended Further Reading” list at the end of each issue, as well as a contact list of active publishers in the field of mini comics.
