Are young lovers destined to meet again? As a boy, Sunao Oumi was heartbroken as his dear Kei left him to travel to the moon. Flash forward a decade, and ironically, Sunao is working on the lunar surface and trying to return to Earth. Little does he know that his next job will land him in the middle of a planetary conspiracy as rival factions battle to harness a powerful alien technology.

Beneath the moon’s crust, few realize that an interstellar spaceship has a mysterious connection to three Emblem Seeds from Earth. However, Apep is one of them. Now he ruthlessly wrests control of the Lunar Authority to pursue unauthorized research to secure this power for himself. This spells trouble for Sunao, since he’s the tour guide of the two U.N. agents who are escorting the seeds. But special investigator Ms. Attim M-Zak is no pushover, as is Kei Heidemann, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Sunao’s long-lost love. But will assailants from the Dykstra corporation ruin their reunion?

Circuitous plotting by Yo Morimoto takes a back seat to the sinuous pencilling of Hiroyuki Utatane. Sensual sights abound (flowing manes, languorous legs, and overflowing bosoms), which flamboyantly distract the reader from the sparse and puzzling script. From a slow start, the action does heat up, as do reader’s pulses when watching the raven-haired M-zak strut her stuff.
