Remember when you were little and you were convinced that monsters were hiding under your bed, or in your closet? In this continuation of the hit movie, we rejoin Brian, a boy who feels the same way—only Brian is right.

Yes, there are monsters under the bed, but once you get to know them, they’re not so bad at all. As a matter of fact, Brian has made quite good friends with many of them, including his special pal Maurice. Together, they slip away in the dark of night to go underground to where monsters live, emerging in other people’s houses where they cause all sorts of mischief. You know…tracking mud in the house, breaking dishes…the sort of thing that kids always swear wasn’t their doing. “A monster spilled the paint all over the cat! Really!”
