Galactus. Dr. Doom. Kang the Conqueror. Magneto. When villains like these threaten the world, a veritable army of super-heroes stands ready to oppose them. But who protects small-town America when the threat isn’t big enough for A-List heroes like the Avengers, Fantastic Four, or even Spider-Man to notice? Why, network television, of course… at least as long as the ratings hold!

With two of their members having graduated to the big leagues, and funding scarcer than it used to be, the New Warriors reluctantly sell their services (and their dignity) to a reality-television show, where they travel the back-roads of the nation battling evil in front of the camera (for as many times as it takes to get the shot!). On the bright side, they also get a new member, whose conversations with germs easily make him the ickiest hero around.
