For those interested in exploring the Battlestar Galactica phenomenon for the first time this full color one-shot might not be the right place to start. Even for diehard fans this book’s plot line might be a tough one to follow. There is some series background text provided in this issue, but it is very incomplete and written with the assumption that the reader is already boned up on Galactica lore. What this title mostly offers is pinup art. Years after the television series was cancelled, the comics industry produced many Battlestar titles so there’s quite a selection to choose from where you can more successfully start your journey.
