Captain Universe/Hulk

™ and ©2005 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Captain Universe was first introduced back in 1979 around a fairly compelling concept: Anyone can be a hero if their need is great enough. Ordinary people—and some heroes—bonded with a mysterious energy f0rce known as the uni-power to do good things. In this issue, the first part of a 5-part miniseries, the uni-power tracks down the Hulk (and Bruce Banner) because it needs some assistance of its own. Although it believes the brain of Banner can save the day, before long it’s the brawn of the Hulk which becomes critical to its very survival.

This title kicks off an adventure featuring four other Marvel heroes and some pretty shady villains. Jay Faerber and Carlos Magno help resurrect a pretty intriguing idea.
