Weapon Zero/Silver Surfer

When the Silver Surfer, the powerful former herald of Galactus, seeks to destroy the remains of an ancient alien vessel, he unwittingly aids Mephisto, one of the Lords of Hell. Mephisto manages to combine the Surfer’s cosmic energy with his own demonic power, thus repairing the craft and using it to activate an interdimensional gateway into an alternate reality.

Though this new world has plenty of heroes, such as the members of Weapon Zero, Mephisto senses that there are no other beings like himself. He’ll have easy pickings as he harvests the uncountable souls in this dimension, and the alien T’srri are more than willing to aid him against the super-heroes who will undoubtedly oppose him.

This book is chapter one of the Devil’s Reign crossover that will involve many of Marvel and Top Cow’s other heroes, including Cyberforce, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Witchblade.
