Power of Prime

This four-issue mini-series explores the origins of the super-hero Prime. Prime, like his “sister” Elven, was a product of genetic experiments conducted by one Dr. Gross. Prime is really a teenage boy who has the ability to form ectoplasmic “shell bodies” around himself. In Prime’s case, these (generally) are of the form of a classic super-hero. During the hours or days that these bodies are able to maintain their solidity, they give their “wearer” all the powers and attributes of the external body. Eventually, however, these bodies lose solidity, and break into a sort of ectoplasmic goo.

One of Dr. Gross’ earlier (and less successful) creations decided to learn the truth behind his own genesis. Thus the monstrous “Duey” kidnapped the good doctor and forced him to reveal the secret laboratory and research notes that tell the full story behind this bizarre set of experiments.
