The Sandman Presents: Deadboy Detectives

    (Vertigo, 2001)
™ and ©2001 DC Comics, Inc.

Young Edwin Paine spent seventy-five years in Hell before escaping and meeting Charles Rowland at Boarding School. When Charles died, he and Edwin refused to follow Death into the next realm, choosing instead to remain on Earth. For ten years, they spent their afterlife in movie theaters and libraries, learning everything they could about the detective business. Finally, they set up their office in a haunted treehouse and began their career in earnest.

Their first client brings them an interesting problem. Her homeless friends are dying by aging a thousand years in a day and she wants to find out why.

Ed Brubaker and Bryan Talbot have put together a fantastic tale for mature readers that will entertain Sandman readers immensely.
