The original Team 7 mini-series began to unveil the history of the major players in the Wildstorm universe, revealing the lives of these characters before they became super-heroes. This second mini-series delves deeper into that history with an all-new mission for the Team, giving shape to the characters they will become. The Team is made up of Deathblow, Backlash, Gen13's John Lynch and Grifter, among others. Written by action-guru Chuck Dixon, the story finds the Team tasked with destroying a secret cache of nuclear weapons in Vietnam, left behind by U.S. forces. Faced with the dual evils of the Khmer Rouge and an elite team of psychic Russian soldiers, Team 7's soldiering skills are stretched to the limit forcing them to rely on their burgeoning GenFactors to pull off the mission. This is a fast-paced action story with a nostalgic flare for fans of 60s and 70s war comics.
