More Than Mortal/Lady Pendragon

Both Lady Pendragon and Brigid the Protector (of More Than Mortal) are heroines from an earlier time in history, but that doesn’t make them friends. Brigid’s allegiance is to Ireland and Lady Pendragon’s to England, and when a mysterious stranger from their future informs Brigid of the bloody violence England will one day inflict upon Ireland in the name of Christianity, the two find themselves at odds. Will they be able to put aside their differences to defeat the true villains?

This Image mini-series features the creations of Matt Hawkins (Lady Pendragon) and Sharon Scott (Brigid) in a tale written by Scott and penciled by Dan Norton. It delves into both politics and religion—two subjects which are always heated when it comes to Britain and Ireland—and presents the differing motivations between two characters who, though their causes are at odds, have much in common.
