As the title suggests, this one-shot reveals all there is to know about Superman. His legendary origin as the last survivor of the planet Krypton is retold, as well as the events that led to him becoming Earth’s greatest hero. The major moments of his career are summarized, including his apparent death at the hands of Doomsday, and his later mutation into a being composed of pure energy. The book includes several profile pages about the Man of Steel, and his most famous supporting characters, like Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and others.

There are also special pages devoted to the other heroes that help protect Metropolis, several articles from the Daily Planet newspaper, a tour of his memorial to Krypton, the Fortress of Solitude, as well as a chronological timeline of the many Adventures of Superman.
