Larry Hart is the Hooded Rider, selfless crusader for justice in the old West. Credited to Len Lawson, these are simple tales, crudely drawn, and packed with expository dialogue so none of the preteen audience misses out. But those lucky Australians got twice the thrills for their money because there’s also the slightly better drawn Roger Farr, the selfless crusader for justice in 18th-century British-occupied Egypt.
