Travis Christian Slate presents a convoluted tale of corporate-funded heroes, super-hero boy-bands, betrayal, and murder, a tale told by the heroes’ leader despite the fact it begins with his death…

Although the story has all the necessary elements (conflict, detailed characterization and plot intrigue) for a good read, it’s main intent seems to be to act a promotional tool for APG Records and their musical group, The Wonder Boys.
