Chance is the daughter of renowned occult investigator Lucas Falconer. While dad is out tangling with demons and vampires, Chance is having adventures of her own in enchanted worlds of fairies as well as in a more sinister world of monster gangsters. James Robinson and Paul Smith, creators of the memorable Golden Age mini-series for DC, provide the story and art for this well-crafted series that serves up a refreshingly upbeat take on trendy magical-realism and occult themes. One of Robinson’s stated objectives is to appeal to female readers and provide a fun alternative to the grim and dark comics of the 1990s.
