Long ago, Rumanian king Giurescu made a deal with evil itself, and damned his castle and its town forever. After centuries of an unholy, undead existence, the Nazis took him away and the townspeople were saved from his influence—or so they thought.

Hellboy and his bureau discover that Giurescu has returned, and he’s a formidable force—even for Hellboy and his sharp paranormally gifted team of psychics. Furthermore, it looks like the Nazis had nefarious dealings than the undead Giurescu and his vampiric forces…

This five-part series draws upon the legends created by Bram Stoker’s Dracula without ever losing its own originality and character.
