In twelve parts, this series adapted Anne Rice’s classic of modern horror. Interview with the Vampire stars the vampire Lestat, eldest of all the undead. For hundreds of years he has lurked about in the shadows of our world—ever since he himself felt the bite of vampiric fangs in his own neck so long ago. Now the time has come to tell the remarkable story of his life—and unlife. It’s a story of power, betrayal, remorse, and the love of the damned. And in telling his story to the hapless interviewer, he sheds light not only on his own existence, but on an entire underworld where love and pain do not stop with death.

Author Anne Rice is something of a vampire fiction industry unto herself, having created several top-selling sequels to Interview with the Vampire, including Queen of the Damned. In addition to this series, Interview was also adapted into a blockbuster movie starring Tom Cruise as the vampire Lestat.
