Border Worlds began as a backup story in Megaton Man #6, eventually moving on to its own series. After a three-year hiatus, it returns in this second volume, picking up the action exactly where it left off in the first volume.

The chief character of the series, Jenny Woodlore, had met two renegade Earth scientists on the outlying space station, Chrysalis. She fell in love with one of them, and they attempted to escape the station in a smuggler’s old spaceship. However, this group is relentlessly pursued by Lt. Kaarn Pinson, who had become obsessed with tracking down the scientists, and has stowed away on a ship in order to track them. They all wind up in a smuggler’s city located within the exhaust tubes of the giant station. After a tense showdown, Lt. Pinson gets her quarry, and Jenny is once again alone, with no spaceship, marooned on a space station she has come to hate.
