In the early days of the Marvel Universe, a secret enclave of scientists created a super–powered being who came to be known as Adam Warlock. Some mistakes seem destined to be repeated, so no one should be surprised when a new group of scientists uses that creation as inspiration for their own hero. In their eyes, this new Adam Warlock, brought to life in the jungles of Costa Perdita, will help bring about a utopian society—by killing all who oppose their plans. This warrior Warlock not only lacks worldly experience but also a conscience: can the college design student unwittingly involved in his creation give him one?
