After virtually all of the original Sentinels disappeared, Templar, a second–generation member, gathered a new group of super-powered youths, most of whom also have connections to the originals, in hopes of finding out the truth of the legendary heroes’ mysterious fate.

Along the way, their primary mission keeps getting upstaged by demon armies, alien invasions, unexpected trips through space, secret government task forces, etc. etc… all the normal day-to-day distractions that any super–team has to deal with.

The comic has original characters with distinct personalities, an established, detailed retro–continuity, and tightly woven interconnecting plots, all of which adds up to a very enjoyable series. Each issue, published in black & white trade paperback format, provides the same amount of story content as several issues of most other comics. As such, though part of a larger whole, each of the four issues can be enjoyed separately.
