Doc Savage: Doom Dynasty
(Millennium, 1991)
™ and ©1991 The Conde Nast Publications, Inc.
Doc Savage is one of the most famous action/adventure characters ever created. He was one of the inspirations for the successful Indiana Jones movies and has been published in almost every form of print from pulp novels to magazines, to hard cover, to comic books.
In 1991, the Doc returned to comic book fans for the first time since 1972. In Doom Dynasty, Savage must find the murderers of his friend, Dr. Plympton, a noted scientist. He must also keep a book, his father’s journal, out of enemy hands. A mad scientist wants to use Doc’s father’s book to invent a disease that can be spread throughout the entire world, killing everyone. Doc Savage is aided in his efforts by three friends: Andrew Mayfair, Marley Brooks, and John Renwick. Together, the four men race against time to stop a catastrophe.
