Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer Poster Book

2007 was a banner year for both the Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, culminating in the June release of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. It is likely with this in mind that Marvel has released the Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer Poster book, a magazine-sized collection of important covers in the history of both these properties from artists as diverse and important as Jack Kirby, Alex Ross, Steve McNiven, and Mike Wieringo. The idea of this book, as with Marvel poster books of the past, is that each side of a “page” contains half a poster; when the book’s pages are removed from their staples, one then has 18 posters one can hang on the wall or otherwise admire. It’s a great idea for fans looking to fill up wall space, and for $5.99, it’s also an affordable one.
