The battle against the Invid has been long and deadly, taking Earth’s defenders to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Now it is learned that the aliens are planning an assault on Earth, but the bulk of the Robotech forces are still in deep space. Col. Jonathan Wolff has been dispatched to warn of the impending invasion, and hopefully unite the planet’s scattered forces into an effective defensive army.

Unfortunately, the various government and military groups are too busy fighting each other to heed Wolff’s warning. All too often he finds himself being used as a pawn, caught in the middle of their petty territorial conflicts while the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
