The Sci-Fi Channel TV series is transformed into a comic book by veteran writer Marv Wolfman and artist Robert Teranishi. Astronaut John Crichton and his extraterrestrial crew aboard the spaceship Moya end up in a system consisting of three planets. Two of the planets, Kylei and Garangee, are fighting over the third, Tivira. Both Kylei and Grangee view Tivira as their holy land. When Crichton and his companions learn that Tivira might contain information to return them home, they walk on a tightrope of getting what they need without making matters worse.
